Supported Missionaries | What Can I Do?
"It has been wisely observed that God had just one son and chose to make him a missionary!"Missions is a core value at 'The Life Church, we don't apologise for that, and in fact, seeing the discovery and development of our missions as being core to everything that we do.
In our Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and in the world (see Acts 1:8) we are wanting to do our part...and it is exciting to see the things that God is leading us into!!
We are so blessed as a church to have a special relationship with 'Phlair International College' a training provider consisting of Bible, Business and English studies'. Each year Phlair provides training for many young men and women in christian ministry skills and christian based education in 'market place' fields of learning. Dozens of Pastors, church planters and missionaries are now in service for Jesus as a result.
We have people serving as missionaries in a number of international settings, and as well have chosen to give support to some other amazing people serving God cross-culturally. While for reasons of 'political sensitivity' it is not possible to share where everyone is, the following are some of the people that we are glad to be supporting!
Each year at our Missions Weekend we take our annual 'FPO' (Faith Promise Offering). A special faith offering (not cash) towards missions. This giving is always sacrificial and added to the 10% 'tithe' of general giving that is designated to missions is the source of funding for all that happens! We want to honour the amazing men and women who we support...you are the best!
But at 'The Life Church' our only desire is...'we want to do more!!'
